San Sanino is an unique and charming Villa in Tuscany, near Montepulciano. The Villa opened in 2012, after a long restoration, involving the reclaimation of period furniture and original materials of a 1700's farmhouse. This has been the project of its two owners, engineer Ubaldo and chef Laura, who dedicate themselves to the restoration of the Villa with extreme passion, helped by sons Giacomo and Bianca. Thanks to the family management and the exclusivity of location, San Sanino makes you feel like at home.

The Relais San Sanino is an ideal destination to spend your vacation in close contact with nature while you can spend your days with activities such as mountain biking, horseback riding, hikes among the country paths or hot air ballooning rides over the Tuscan countryside. Moreover, at San Sanino you can find an infinity swimming pool with pure salt water that overlooks Ciliano Valley and is surrounded by an olive grove. The Villa offers a variety of in-house ammenities, such as an expansive selection of massages to regenerate your body and mind and a Cooking Class and Luxury Wine Tasting organized by San Sanino staff. During the cooking class, the guests will cook Pici (Tuscan kind of pasta), Tuscan Ragu, Beef, Zucchini or Broccoli Flan and Tiramisu (it is possible to have a Vegetarian Cooking Class).

During the wine tasting, the guests will taste Brunello di Montalcino, Chianti Classico, Nobile di Montepulciano and Bolgheri Superiore from our hand-picked list of wineries. Every year our olive trees give one of the most popular fruits in the world, Tuscan Olives, used by the owners to produce an amazing extra-virgin olive oil. The taste of the famouse olives can be enjoyed in all the dishes cooked by chef our in La Limonaia, the small restaurant opened just for our guests. Our culinary art philosophy aims to guarantee the quality of the products, traditional recipes and slow food that comes from our vegetable garden.
