Spend 6 days and 5 nights on a horse-supported trek through the sacred Badger-Two Medicine area located on the southern edge of Glacier National Park. Meet. your guide: Alger Swingley As an enrolled Blackfeet Tribal Member, Alger is a certified interpretive guide who supports the promotion of sustainable tourism and state-tribal economic development in Montana. With 25 years of guiding experience, he has intimate knowledge of the Badger-Two Medicine area that is adjacent to the Blackfeet Indian Reservation and lies just below Glacier National Park. Alger and his team will take you through the best wilderness routes with the up most safety in mind. Learn about this area’s history, flora and the fauna, and the relationship of the Blackfeet Nation’s ties to the Badger-Two Medicine creation stories. Alger is a governor-appointed board member of the Montana Tourism Advisory Council where he represents all of the tribal nations in Montana for economic development and sustainable tourism.
