Along the route, hikers encounter rich biodiversity, including orchids, spectacled bears, and Peru’s national bird, the cock-of-the-rock, as well as remarkable Inca ruins like Wiñay Wayña and Phuyupatamarca. What’s Included:

  • Transportation from the airport to the hotel and vice versa

  • As soon as we receive your details and deposit, we will purchase your permits (pending availability). These permits are for a specific date and in your name. They can’t be changed once they are confirmed. Only your passport number is allowed to be updated. The permit includes your entrance ticket to Machu Picchu.

  • Train ticket from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo. This train ticket is Expedition Train; the train leaves Aguas Calientes station at 15h20.

  • First aid kit

  • Shared transportation from Poroy train station to your hotel in Cusco

Arrive in Cusco

Arrive in Cusco, where a representative of Valencia Travel Cusco will be waiting at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Take the day to relax and enjoy the beauty of Cusco and its surroundings. You could opt for a half-day city tour at an additional price of USD 30 per person. We will pick you up at 1:00 pm from your hotel to start the tour and visit the following places: The Koricancha: Temple of the Sun, The Cathedral: Marvel of the religious art, Sacsayhuaman: Majestic places with impressive works in stone, some up to 120 tons, Q'enqo: (Labyrinth) a religious center dedicated to the adoration of the Earth, Puca Pucara (reddish place) that was used as a military control center, Tambomachay: (Temple of the Water) a center of adoration and worship of water.

Private Transport: Cusco Airport – Hotel (20 minutes).
