Day 2 Arusha to Lake Manyara 9-Day Safari Adventure in Northern Tanzania. After breakfast, you will pick up at the hotel or lodge and depart Arusha at 8:30 am en route to Lake Manyara National Park with a picnic lunch in hand. After a full-day game drive you will make your way to the Kitela Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Stretching for 50km along the base of the rusty-gold 600-metre high Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara is a scenic gem, with a setting extolled by Ernest Hemingway as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa.” The compact game-viewing circuit through Lake Manyara offers a virtual microcosm of the Tanzanian safari experience. From the entrance gate, the road winds through an expanse of lush jungle-like groundwater forest where hundred-strong baboon troops lounge nonchalantly along the roadside, blue monkeys scamper nimbly between the ancient mahogany trees, dainty bushbuck tread warily through the shadows and outsized forest hornbills honk cacophonously in the high canopy. Dinner and Overnight at Kitela Lodge.
Day 3 Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park After breakfast, you will start to enjoy an epic 7-Day Private Northern Tanzania Safari head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the Central Park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the Park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. We arrive in time for lunch at Nabi gate and enjoy the late 2hrs afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight in the Kati Kati Tented Camp.
Day 4 Central Serengeti game drive Discover big game – Across Northern Circuits Safaris. After breakfast, you will have a continuous private Northern Tanzania Safari game viewing at Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti, Tanzania’s largest National Park, covers nearly 6,000 square miles of grassland plains.
Central Serengeti’s Seronera Valley is a year-round game-viewing. With Savannah, kopjes, hills, woodlands, and River line forest systems serve as critical water sources. It’s often an excellent site for wildlife viewing.
Beyond the heralded migration of wildebeest and zebra, the Serengeti is best known for its big predators, including cheetah and Leopard, as well as large pride of Lions and clans of Hyenas and many animals. Dinner and overnight at Kati Kati Tented Camp.
Day 5 Serengeti National Park The Serengeti offers superb game viewing all year round due to its abundance of resident animals. Specifically, the Seronera River Valley in the Central Serengeti is a ‘must see’ on every safari regardless of the specific month of travel for 7-Day Private Northern Tanzania Safari. Game viewing in Central Serengeti is at its best during the dry season (June – November) as resident animals are more concentrated in the immediate area due to the lack of water on the plains. Resident herbivores include impala, buffalo, hippo, warthog, topi, hartebeest, and giraffe. Resident carnivores include lions and leopards. Dinner and overnight at Kati Kati Tented Camp
Day 6 Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater After a relaxing morning and an early lunch, you will proceed to Ngorongoro. Today, you will be doing a game viewing en route on your way from Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater. You will be in Ngorongoro Crater late in the evening where the night will be spent on the crater rim. Dinner and overnight will be at Simba Campsite.
Day 7 Ngorongoro Crater to Mto wa Mbu Today, you will have an early breakfast and proceed directly to the crater floor for a five-to-six-hour crater tour with a picnic lunch down the crater whereby you will be able to see all the “Big Five”. Later, you will proceed back to Mto wa Mbu. Dinner and Overnight at Fanaka Campsite.
Day 8 Tarangire to Arusha After early breakfast, we go for a full-day game drive at Tarangire National Park with picnic lunche, and overnight at the Hotel. It is the national park where herds of up to 300 elephants scrape the waterless river bed for alternative streams, while nomadic wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, and eland mass the decreased lagoons.
It is the most attentiveness of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem – a smorgasbord for predators and the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as the stately fringe-eared Oryx and peculiar long-necked gerenuk are regularly practical. The only national park that holds the migrants during the dry season and welcomes home different species of animals. Later in the evening, we go back to the Hotel in Arusha.
Day 9 Transfer you to Airport After breakfast in the hotel, we will transfer you to the airport to take a flight back home or to the next safari destination, you’re planning yourself.
